Current Favorite Cleansers & Winner of Zoya Mirrors Line

 I really suffered a while ago when I was lazy exhausted for a few days and didn’t take my makeup off at night.   After having a super clear face for a while, all of a sudden my face erupted in zits and blackheads. ewww . Since then I’ve been super religious about removing my makeup. I’m going to show you  the two cleansers that I’ve been using that have really rocked my world and helped thoroughly cleanse my face and help with getting rid of these zits. Now of course, you girls know that I use my clarisonic to take off the makeup but the clarisonic needs to work with good cleansers and here are two that I think are fantastic:

June Jacobs Spa Collection Cooling Cucumber Cleanser:

1)     I love this cleanser for a few reasons. First of all it’s super thick. One drop, and you can use it to thoroughly cleanse your entire face so this will last forever. It’s also formulated without any parabens, preservatives, synthetic dyes, or fragrances so this is a great option if you have sensitive skin. It contains massive antioxidants like, white, red and green tea extracts combined with goji berry, pomegranate and grape seed extracts and it never leaves my skin dry or tight or flaky. Seriously after using this I’m left with super soft skin, just like a baby's bottom. I use this 5 times a week and highly recommend.

2)     Nelson’s Pure & Clean Purifying Cleansing Wash-I’m really loving this cleanser too and use this two days out of the week. It’s made from homeopathic ingredients like arnica, and hypericum,  It also contains essential oils such as  grapefruit oil and lavender oil. Again, all you need is a drop of this product and you can clean your whole entire face because it's a pretty thick consistency. The scent of this is mint with a hint of lavender. I love it, and find that it really wakes me up in the morning. Also, this really leaves your skin super soft and for under 10 bucks, it’s a winner.

I'd highly recommend both cleansers.

Avalon Organics Facial Cleansing Gel with Lavender

Since I’m not really using my clarisonic anymore (because as a beauty blogger, I have to try different skin care regimes out) I need to make sure that my facial wash is incredibly effective. I absolutely hate sleeping with any trace of makeup on my skin because that leads to fat cystic zits on my face the next morning. (I have super sensitive skin.) Recently I got the chance to try Avalon Organics Renewal Facial Cleansing Gel with Lavender and I can't get enough of this. 

First of all, you guys know how psycho concerned I am about ingredients lately so this is great. It doesn't contain any SLS, Parabens or Harsh Preservatives.  This is a  lightweight fruit based cleanser, loaded with Licroice root, organic lavender, and organic white tea (did you know white tea has way highter antio-oxidant properties than green tea). It also contains Organic Flax and Borage Oil. Flax oil is an Omega 3 and Borage is an Omega 9-two oils known to work serious hydration magic on the skin. When I applied this to my face in the evening, the first thing I noticed was the scent of lavender. Lavender can always calm my mood down, so that was a pleasant feeling. After washing my face with this, (keep in mind, I had Foundation, Eyeshadow, eyeliner, and blush on) my makeup was completely gone and my skin was not left with that super tight feeling at all. It actually felt very moisturized and oh by the way after washing my face with this,I had such an amazing sleep. Usually I wake up in the middle of the night, not at all with this. That lavender did something serious to me.

Cleanse Your Skin with Weleda

How was your weekend loves? Mine was fun. Hung out with family and friends which is the most important thing. Anyway, let's talk beauty.
Mommy is huge fan of Weleda skin care products. So when I was sent their Almond Cleanser to try, I was excited. (Mommy has beautiful skin.) My skin care regime is very important to me. I have to be so careful with what I put on my skin because the slightest irritation leads to zits and dark marks. A good skin care regime always begins with a great cleanser. I hate cleansers that leave my skin irritated and tight after washing. After massaging this on my face, I wash with lukewarm water. The results are super cleansed skin, but also silky smooth skin. No tightness at all. My foundation application is a dream.This contains almond oil which is tolerated by most skin types and it’s free of perfumes, essential oils and artifical cleansing agents.

Kiss My Face Cleanser is the business! & Please Dream the Dream.

My skin is so sensitive it can be very annoying. I can put a a product on my face, and all of a sudden, I will break out like crazy. . Because I have tan skin, when I break out, I get left with annoying dark marks. GRRRRRRRR. Also, if I sleep with just the slightest bit of makeup on, I will have huge zits the next day. A few weeks ago, my friend’s 2-year old daughter decided that my Clarisonic looked better in the toilet.Ever since she threw it in there, I can’t even think about using it. So, I’ve been washing my face the old fashioned way with my hands, cleansers and water. Many of the facial washes that I tried, did not adequately remove my makeup, so, I have had a few breakouts. Lately though, I’ve been using Kiss My Face Cream for a Day Cleanser




This stuff gets all of the makeup off, while leaving my face feeling feeling so soft. It even removes my waterproof mascara, which I usually have to scrub like crazy to take it off. It's preservative, and soap free. It also contains a little bit of natural exfoliant, sugar, and corn and it's organic. It’s a gentle cleanser, and after I’m done washing my face, all traces of my make-up are gone, and I don’t have nasty breakouts the next day.
