Hey loves,
How was your weekend? Mine was lots of fun, but we'll get into that later in this post. For now, let's talk beauty. St. Tropez recently released their Self Tan Dark Bronzing Mousse. This self tan contains a new melanin technology that is guaranteed to give you the darkest, and deepest tan possible. As someone who gets pretty great color with the original St. Tropez mousse, I was curious to try this new one. Could it really make me darker than the original? After exfoliating thoroughly with Repechage's Dead sea Exfoliator, I began applying the mousse with my tan mitten. The first thing I noticed was that this product was not deep brown like the original, St. Tropez, but GREEN. Yes a deep dark olive. It was a little strange. Did I get a bad batch? I thought to myself. Click below to read my review on this must-have self tanner and check out my weekend updates.
Repechage Sea Spa Glow All Over Body Scrub Review
I'm really picky when it comes to exfoliators. I loathe the ones that say they, "exfoliate thoroughly" yet when I use them, the granules feel as soft as baby powder. Or the ones that are so harsh they feel as if they are ripping your skin apart with each lather. Step in Repechage Sea Spa Glow. This exfoliator is quickly becoming one of my favorites. First of all, can we talk about how delicious the scent is, -pure spearmint. It reminds me of Trident's spearmint gum, which is my favorite. It's great when you use it in the morning because the scent immediately invigorates you. The salts, which come from the Dead Sea in Israel thoroughly exfoliate my skin without being too soft or harsh. I love that this also contains seaweed which is a natural source of vitamins, amino acids, and trace minerals. It also contains olive oil which ensures after you scrub, your skin is as hydrated and soft as a baby's bottom.
The product retails for $35.00
This scrub is seriously an A+.

Have you tried Repechage products?

Cover FX Brightening Foundation Primer SPF 50 Review
I remember a few years back, before I'd discovered primer, always carrying my foundation on me, just because in the hot weather, I knew I would have to retouch it. I expected that it would be melting, seeping in my pores, and make my face look all blotchy, oily and messy. Back in the days, I would never allow anyone to see me without my foundation. Mr. Milly swears he just saw me for the first time without foundation two years ago. Although, I tell him that's not true, he actually might be right. I was super sensitive when it came to my skin. It was loaded with hyperpigmentaton marks, and bumps. Now or days, because of a good skincare regime, Clarisonic, vitamins and my smoothie, I actually don't mind being without foundation. On days I do it use it, I always apply a barrier between the foundation and my skin, and one that I always seem to go back to is Cover FX Brightening Foundation Primer wth SPF 50. I love that this contains such a high amount of SPF. This primer is a little thicker than most primers that I've used. Cover Fx says it contains, " Dermaveil blurs the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and Bearberry extract helps reduce the appearance of age spots. " All I know is when I use this primer, my foundation stays put, 2) my skin looks really radiant almost glowing. 3) When I apply foundation after using this, it applies so evenly and smoothly. It also makes my large pores look non existent. I've actually used this without any foundation, and liked how even it made my skin looked. Yes it's expensive-$45.00 but this bottle will last you a very long time (at least a year). It's also free of parabens, fragrances, and oils. All in all, this Primer is the Business. During the hot weather, I think primer is essential, and the fact that this contains SPF 50 makes this product pretty amazing.
What's your go-to primer?
Do you use prmer at all?

Milly
Therapy Thursday: It's Never Too Late to be Who You Could Have Been.
I recently received this email, "Dear Milly, I"m a mom of four in my mid thirties, and miserable. I feel like I haven't done too much with my life. But, I feel too old to start working on my dream. Not sure what I should do. "
If you ever get an email from my personal account, my signature is this, "It's never too late to be who you could have been." I firmly believe that. I firmly believe that anyone at any age should follow their dream. Recently, I started reading the book, 50 Shades of Grey. I'd heard so much about it, but was more intrigued because the author was a mom who had dreamed of writing a book, but had focused on raising her children, so she never got around to it, until finally, a few years ago, she started writing, and now her book is a huge best seller with a move about to be made. What am I trying to say?? You have one life to live. And as someone who lived her life miserable for years in finance, I advise you to never ever give up on your dreams. This is the best time to go after your dreams. With the internet, social media, youtube, there are so many ways you can make your dreams happen. Life is too short to live miserably, unhappy or depressed. If you truly want something, you will find a way to make it happen, but you have to want it bad enough. You have to fight for it. Sorry to say, but you will not get anywhere in life if you think the word owes you something. You have to work your butt off, and believe me, once you do, your dreams will happen. But, the worst thing you can do, is give up on them. or think they can't happen. A few years ago, my close friends grandmother was dying in a hospice. She told my girlfriend her biggest regret was not finding time to become a nurse. She'd always wanted to do it, but because of kids, working, and just thinking she was too old, she didn't make it happen. Don't live your life full of regret. When I kick the bucket, I want to be able to tell my family, " I have no regrets. I did everything I ever wanted to do in life." And believe me, I'm working hard to make sure that happens and I want you to do the same. Remember, you deserve to be happy! Make those dreams happen!
Are you making your dreams come true?
Tell me how?
Hugs,
Milly

Shansen Jewelry
Last year, I diid a segment with WPIX news anchor Tamsen
Fadal. A month before we actually had done the segment, I had put my pic next to
hers on my vision board. When I met Tamsen, I was
struck by her kindness, and her really great energy. She was so reassuring and
kind and made me feel very at ease. Recently, Tamsen and her cousin, actress, Shannon Elizabeth (Yes, thee
Shannon Elizabeth) started their own jewelry line, Shansen Jewelry. I love the whole purpose of this line. Both women were in
TV, but they were both searching for the meaning of happiness. Their jewelry
line is inspired by their encounters, their travels, the icons and gurus they
have met along the way as well as their quest to find true peace. The
collection consist of handmade bracelets and necklaces,
and mix and match stackables that bring energy, inspiration and courage to the
wearer. Here are some of their pieces

What do you think of the jewelry?

Hey girls, anything new in your world? Sorry I didn't blog yesterday. I've been a little crazed, but recently I got to interview the amazing makeup artist/mogul Bobbi Brown. She's such an inspiring, wonderful, and warm woman and I can't wait to share the interview with you. Here's something interesting: After I interviewed her, she told me, "You should really think about doing TV, you have a TV face." You know that made my day!! I've told you guys over and over again it's my ultimate goal to be a lifestyle reporter so I was thrilled when she said that! But anyway, let's talk about the new Clinique Chubby Sticks. For the summer Clinique has released 8 new chubby sticks. These are very hydrating lip balms with a good amount of pigment. Click below to see swatches, and read my review.

6 TIPS to Keep Your Hair HEALTHY This Summer
| Swimming At The Pool |
Coloring my hair has been such a great experience. For some reason, with this light hair, I feel more alive, more awake, more adventurous! But the fact is, now that my hair has been highlighted, I need to take care of it a lot more. The problem is, I love doing everything that's damaging. I love swimming in the ocean and pool. I love hanging out poolside when the sun is out in all of it's glory drinking an apple martini. But all of this exposes my hair to the damaging effects of chlorine, salt water, and the harmful rays of the sun (which can be very drying to your hair). Here are six things to do to protect your tresses from feeling and looking a hot mess during the summer: Click below to read more.
China Glaze Summer Neons Collection Part 2 Review

YSL Orange De Chine Glossy Stain Review
If you haven't picked up YSL's Glossy Stains, then you need to grab one asap. Yes it's pricey at $32, but girls when I tell you it's worth it, it is, especially the shade, Orange De Chine. I've been rocking this shade for a few months now and can't believe I haven't reviewed it. Orange de Chine is a super pigmented orange with a hint of red. This is such an interesting product because it applies like a gloss but fade down to a stain. Click below to read my review, see a swatch, and see how it looks on me.
