Eve Pearl Hot Sexy Hot Mama Gloss has De going Crazy!

Beauty events are my favorite past time (well besides spending time with my family and hubby). Recently I went to a great one given by Sassy Chics in midtown Manhattan. The event was full of different makeup brands, skin care items, and discounted designer clothing. It felt like I was in heaven. The famed makeup artist Eve Pearl was there, and I got a chance to meet her. She was absoltutely wonderful. (She even let me hold her emmy-she’s won five for her great makeup application on The View). Anyway, Sassy Chics gave all the event attendees a great gift bag. One of the products that was in the bag was Eve Pearls HotMamma/Hot Sexy Gloss. The Hotmama/hotsexy gloss is a dual gloss in one. One side contains Hot Mama. It’s a gorgeous sexy flaming red, and Hot Sexy is a beautiful pearl shine with sparkle that you can wear over the Hot Mama.



Anyway, as I said before, tis the season for red. I love both colors, and have been using them together, The Hot sexy is great for work. However, the Hot mama is just so hot. The red is so so incredibly pigmented, and it stays on even after I drink any beverage., It’s such a smooth application and my lips feel so hydrated after using this. When I wear this shade, I feel so seductive, and Mr. DE can’t stop telling me how sexy I am-and of course, I agree.

De's New Love Lancome's Juicy Tube in Rose Nectar

As you guys know, DE is a huge fan of Lancome, for many reasons. Not only is my fellow Dominicana Arlenis Sosa one of the faces of their brand (pictured above, isn't she stunning) but honestly their products are truly some of the best out there. Nothing gets my lashes longer and thicker than their Definicils. I’m sure many of my readers would agree. Their Juicy tubes are amongst my favorite in glosses. I think they have every shade imaginable, and their newest Rose Nectar is gorgeous!




In the tube it looks incredibly pink, but once applied to the lips, it’s a beautiful nude with a tremendous amount of shine, and gorgeous little sparkles. It’s so pretty on my lips but the best thing about this, is that it stays on. I hate when I have to constantly reapply glosses. This is definitely a BeautyLogic Approved item.

L'Oreal Hip Color Press Glosses

I love glosses. As you guys know. I’m a huge fan, and have way too many in my bag. The interior of my bag is about 50 different colors because of all the glosses that have leaked. I’m really loving L’oreal Hip Color Pressed in 180/Swanky. It’s two shades. One shade is a peachy nude, and the other is a bright pink. You mix these two shades and Wala! The mix creates a stunning sheer pinkish glittery nude dream! It’s such a beautiful shade together. I love it. The consistency is thick, but not sticky thick. (My hair won’t get stuck to my lips with this one. I hate that.) I love how delish this taste too. Kind of like butterscotch. I have this LL Cool J habit where I lick my lips constantly. But even after licking my lips, the shade still lingers, which is great. DE highly recommends this.

DE's Got News & Global Goddess Lip Veil Obsession & Slumdog too!

Hey guys, how was your V-day? Mine was nothing short of amazing. Mr. DE and I got engaged in what was one of the most beautiful proposals ever. I'm so excited! If you want details, please e-mail me. :-)

But let’s get back to beauty. That night, I had on the most gorgeous new lip gloss by one of my favorite brands Golden Goddess. The brand was started by Shaline Vadhera and you know how much DE loves supporting women businesses. Well her Moroccan Golden Goddess Lip Veil in Cardamon is one of my new fave lip glosses. (It will now hold a special place in my heart because I was wearing it when Mr. DE proposed).



My lips had this gorgeous golden but neutral shiny tint to them and they felt so moisturized without any stickiness at all. My lips really looked so beautiful, and the color goes so well with my bronze skin. This also contain SPF 15 which is always great! I love this.

Oh so after that, Mr. DE and I saw Slumdog Millionare. First of all, the actress Frida Pinto is so stunning, she takes my breath away. Second of all, that’s such a great love story. Ahh, **drooling over Jamal saying “She is my destiny.”**

Sexy Natural Lips

Hey guys, I’m back. I’ve missed you. I can’t imagine what life was like without the internet. This past week was driving me crazy. Last week I actually stayed 3 hours late at work every night so I could use the internet. Ahh but now my good old IBM is back in my loving hands. I've been kissing her more than Mr. DE. I’ll never ever mistreat her again!

Let’s get back to beauty because I’ve been dying to tell you hot mammas about these phenomenal lip glosses by Aubrey Organics. I’ve already told you guys about my obsession with Aubrey’s hair care. Their honeysuckle conditioner makes my hair gleam! Anyway, I’ve really loving their new Natural Lip glosses.



First of all the ingredients are 50% pure and organic, and their gloss base is castor seed and coconut oil (you know how much I love coconut oil) and they use natural colorants like caramel, beet, and carrot extract. How amazing is that! My fave color is the Ruby Frost (although they have 8 shades). It’s a gorgeous light, sheer, incredibly glossy red, and when I use this my lips feel so incredibly moist and hydrated but not sticky (no need at all to use chapstick before applying!) . I love this!

Natural Sexy Lips with Lavanila

I have this LL Cool J complex where I lick my lips every five seconds. Lip glosses never last more than 5 minutes on me before I have to reapply because I’m constantly licking my lips! I really try to stop myself from doing it because the fact of the matter is, every time I lick my lips, I’m basically ingesting my glosses and who the heck knows what kind of harsh chemicals they contain. In fact, a recent study conducted by the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics found that a large number of major lip products on the market contain surprisingly high levels of lead that can be toxic if ingested. and I’m in love!!!!! Things You Must Carry at All Times

When I go out with my friends to a lounge or event, I always like to carry a super chic cute small pochette. However, they all make fun of me because the fact of the matter is sometimes my "super chic cute small pochette" ends up looking like an overstuffed bag full of crap. (Many times I can barely zipper it). These are the six things that I must carry with me at all times, or I just can't function:

When wearing this, I've been accused of having eyelash extensions-thats how much this mascare elongates and volumizes my lashes. HOWEVER (and some of you may disagree) I find that with the correct application of Covergirl Lash Blast, your lashes can look equally as fabulous (with a way less price-tag).
