De's Loving Kim Kardashian's Perfume

Photobucket

I must admit that I do love Kim Kardashian.  Keeping up with the Kardashians is one of the few shows that I  look forward to watching every week. I love seeing how strong her family is and how they stand by  each other no matter what. It reminds me of my own family. I’ve also met Kim before, and she was just a very sweet and humble person.

So honestly, I was a little nervous to try her fragrance. If it stunk, I would have been highly disappointed. But after testing it out, I’m super pleased and think this will be my new signature scent. The notes are listed as Mandarin, Honey Suckle, Orange Blossom, Pink Jasmine, Tuberose, Sensual Spice, Lush Gardenia, Jacaranda Wood, Tonka Bean, Vanilla Orchid, Sexy Musk, Creamy Sandalwood. But the two notes that truly stands out are the gardenia, and tuberose.  I’ve mentioned before that gardenia is one of my favorite scents but when tuberose is added, it’s a seductive  and feminine combination (Mr. DE is loving this!). The scent does kind of remind me of Michael Kors, but Kim’s fragrance  is much more toned down. (I've always thought Michael Kors scent was way too strong.)  The chemistry between this fragrance and myself is magnetic, and the staying power is is something to brag about. One spritz on my neck lasted the whole day and I received more than my fair share of compliments.

De's Going Nuts For Mimosa Bouquet

Photobucket

Sephora has this really funny system. While you’re waiting on line to purchase something, they got these plastic little boxes around the line,  where they keep all these  miniature products, so why you’re waiting to buy something else, another product will tempt you, and you’ll purchase that too. How genius! How sneaky!   I’ve told myself many times I will not fall for this, but I always end up picking something up. One of my most recent purchases while waiting to buy  a new hair product (that was crap by the way) was this adorable little alcohol-free perfume by this company called Nuts Cream Perfume.  The scent I Purchased was Mimosa Bouquet. Oh my God, this smells so incredibly yummy!  It’s a mix of orange blossom but with a strong note of gardenia in it. (Gardenia is one of my favorite fragrances). I’m obsessed with this. I have gotten so many compliments on this fragrance. Another thing I love about this brand is that their perfumes are phthalate free, and contain no sulfates, petro-chemicals, synthetic dyes, triclosan, gmo, ppg, mea, dea, tea, or formaldehyde donors and all the products are cruelty free. My only con with this product is the longevity. I would say it gave me about a good three hours, and then the scent wanes and I have to reapply. But it's so worth it.
