Korres Jasmine Body Milk Does a Body Good

It’s the season for ashy, itchy and scaly skin. After my morning shower, I find myself grabbing one of my many lotions or oils and lathering about 3 pounds of it all over my body. Some work better than others. A new one I’m actually loving is Korres Jasmine Body Milk. About a week ago, while shopping, I saw this body milk on sale and had to purchase! I’m a huge fan of Korres. Their Guava Body butter is one of my staples so I had to try their Jasmine Body Milk. Ever since I used Oscar Blandi’s Jasmine Hair serum, the scent of jasmine has intoxicated me. Such an exotic, delicious, and floral fragrance. Research shows that the smell of jasmine makes you sleep better and gives you a sense of well-being. Jasmine oil is incredibly rare, and the flowers are only picked at night because that’s the only time they bloom. Anyway, not only does the delicious aroma of this captivate me, but this body milk works so well to keep my skin  smooth and hydrated, and the scent lingers the whole day. More than once while sitting next to someone on the subway I’ve been asked what fragrance I’m wearing.  Another reason I love this stuff is it doesn't contain any  Parabens, Synthetic Dyes, Petro-Chemicals, Phthalates, GMO, or Triclosan.

Ooh Baby! You’re a Bombshell

As a woman who is obsessed with scented lotions, I have a new addiction. I recently tried Original Bombshell’s Ooh Baby lotion in Gardenia, and all I got to say is “OOH BABY! THIS SMELLS FANTASTIC!” The packaging is absolutely adorable, and when I first opened this bottle, I really was in awe of how great it smelled. It’s such a fresh, clean fragrance with a light scent of gardenia. When I apply this, it really moisturizes and hydrates my skin and the elegant and delicious aroma lingered throughout the day but subtly, not overly done. (I hate when I can smell someone two blocks away.) This product is loaded with the very moisturizing ingredients of shea butter, vitamin E and aloe vera. Also, it’s free of artificial colors and paraben free.

Naturally Silky Skin With Pacifica Body Butter

Last week, I was picking up lunch at Whole foods, when I began perusing the beauty aisles. I noticed a shelf filled with brightly covered containers of Body butters from this company called Pacifica. There were samples available so I opened the first one which was called “Hawaiian Ruby Guava”, and could not believe how glorious this product smelled. The fruity aroma of guava filled my nose, but there was also a light scent of coconut infused in this as well-the combination is magnificent.It reminded me of my trips to Dominican beaches. I was hooked. I took some of the butter and applied some on my hands. The cream was very rich and thick but not greasy at all, just incredibly moisturizing and my hands felt like silk. When I turned the packaging around, I noticed that this product was vegan and paraben free, and most of the ingredients were organic. It was a match made in heaven. I then started opening up the other containers that were available to be sampled, from Gardenia (I picked that one up for mommie. She was a huge Chanel Gardenia lover back in the day) to a delicious Brazilian Mango Grapefruit. Honestly, I would have probably bought all of them, if I wasn’t saving money for next week’s trip to Chicago. I’ve been using my Hawaiian Ruby Guava right after the shower and not only does this cream leave my skin incredibly smooth and hydrated, but the fantastic scent lingers on me throughout the day. It’s not overpowering just deliciously fruity and two of my colleagues asked what perfume I was wearing because they had to have it. They couldn’t believe when I told them it was body butter. This is a must have and I mean it.
