Borghese New Spring Line = BreathTaking!

You readers know how much I love to glam up my nails. I think beautifully painted nails are so girly and pretty. Borghese new spring collection is absolutely stunning with its gorgeous array of purples and pinks (two of my favorite colors-especially for the spring.) The inspiration of this stunning collection was a classic italigan garden. They contain Borghese Aqua diVita complext to help restore moisture to the nails. I love Borghese's big brushes too. I can paint my nails a lot faster.



The colors are Argento Mist, Campanula Bellflower, Piccola Tulip, Primula Primrose, Peonia Blossom, Giardino Heather.
My camera isn't working so I used my ancient old camera to take this pic of my fingers with the Argento Mist on. It truly is a stunning shade of lavender (You really can't see how gorgeous it is). Love Love Loves it!

DE's Got News & Global Goddess Lip Veil Obsession & Slumdog too!

Hey guys, how was your V-day? Mine was nothing short of amazing. Mr. DE and I got engaged in what was one of the most beautiful proposals ever. I'm so excited! If you want details, please e-mail me. :-)

But let’s get back to beauty. That night, I had on the most gorgeous new lip gloss by one of my favorite brands Golden Goddess. The brand was started by Shaline Vadhera and you know how much DE loves supporting women businesses. Well her Moroccan Golden Goddess Lip Veil in Cardamon is one of my new fave lip glosses. (It will now hold a special place in my heart because I was wearing it when Mr. DE proposed).



My lips had this gorgeous golden but neutral shiny tint to them and they felt so moisturized without any stickiness at all. My lips really looked so beautiful, and the color goes so well with my bronze skin. This also contain SPF 15 which is always great! I love this.

Oh so after that, Mr. DE and I saw Slumdog Millionare. First of all, the actress Frida Pinto is so stunning, she takes my breath away. Second of all, that’s such a great love story. Ahh, **drooling over Jamal saying “She is my destiny.”**

Chap Lips No More!

I had to take serious break guys, for a few reasons. One reason is because I’ve been incredibly busy, another reason is because I hadn’t really been trying as many beauty products that I’d like and I only recommend products that I really believe in, but since I’ve finally tried some that have work for me, I’m writing again. Also, I’ve missed you guys. Anyway, I don’t know if I’ve mentioned but I’m currently in a program that teaches me how to shoot and edit my own news reels. The times are changing and networks not only want reporters to write and report their own stuff, but they want them to be able to film and edit as well. So I’ve been learning all that good stuff and it’s been exhausting but so amazing! I love it. However, sometimes I have to work in groups and we have to go outside and film our pieces, and if you’re a New Yorker, you know the last few weeks have been freezing cold! Anyway, last week I was out in the cold for a few hours. In the morning Mr. DE had given me his chapstick because he told me that my lips were so chapped, they’d almost cut him. (lol whatever!)

Anyway I applied this before I went out in the blistering 20 degree weather for six hours, and my lips were left so darn moisturized, and soft, and after six hours, they were still hydrated and I didn’t even have to reapply. This contains SPF 21 and is loaded with so many nourishing vitamins and herbs, my lips felt great. Needless to say, Mr DE never got his chapstick back.

White Teeth

Remember when I asked you guys to recommend something for whitening my teeth. I got so many emails. Thanks so much, but one of my friends Gladys from France had recommended a toothpaste she uses called Elgydium. I had seen this brand when I would walk by a high-end drug store on 57th street in Manhattan but had never tried it. Anyway, after staring at Gladys’ pearly white teeth (she’s a chain smoker but with her perfect teeth you would never know) I decided to see what all the hype was about and I actually love the results. Apparently Elgydium is the most popular toothpaste in France and I can see why.



After around three weeks, my teeth finally looked as white as I remembered them. I also liked that the taste of this wasn’t as harsh as my colgate. As I always say the proof is in the pudding. I drink almost five cups of coffee a day in addition to four cups of green tea (great anti-aging antioxidant), and my teeth are still looking pearly pearl white. Try it, I think you’ll see why it’s the most popular toothpaste in France.
