Hey Guys, in honor of my first video Beauty of the Week (I'll feature another beauty before this week is over), we're having an amazing giveaway. Jan Marini has just launched their newest product called their Age Intervention Regeneration Mask.
I've talked about Jan Marini's products before because they Work. I haven't tried this one just yet but I'd love you to try it. It retails for $90.00 and is loaded with the following:
Glycolic Acid – Provides superb skin resurfacing and retexturing benefits.
• Proprietary Peptide Blend – Targeted peptide blends designed to provide remarkable skin rebuilding and rejuvenation benefits.
• Resveratrol – Polyphenol from red wine often referred to as the “longevity” molecule. Has a wide range of anti-aging benefits that include wrinkle reduction, anti-inflammatory activity and has been shown to modulate genetic expression
• Green Tea Extract – Powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. Medical validation exists regarding its ability to significantly decrease the appearance of lines and wrinkles. Green tea also helps to reduce the appearance of skin redness, including rosacea and has demonstrated anti-acne properties. May also assist in protecting the skin against sun damage.
• Red Tea Extract – Powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. Studies suggest that it can significantly decrease the appearance of lines and wrinkles.
• White Tea Extract – Powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. Helps to prevent sun damage and boosts the immune function of cells. Decreases appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
• Pomegranate Extract – Powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. Helps to support cellular regeneration and skin repair.
• Linoleic and Linolenic Acid – Essential fatty acids with anti-inflammatory properties. Assists in preventing trans-epidermal moisture loss.
• Co-Enzyme Q-10 – Powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. Acts like a “cellular battery” to boost the skins ability to repair and regenerate. Research also indicates that CoQ10 encourages the production of collagen and elastin. Helps to protect the skin from sun damage.
• Algae Extract – Contributes beneficial minerals to the skin and promotes excellent moisture retention and elasticity.
DE wants you to try it too. Send an e-mail to beautylogicblog@yahoo.com telling me what would you like to see more of on BeautyLogic and please be HONEST. Winner gets announced on Friday April 3.

New Beauty of the Week
Hey guys, we did something different this week. You guys know how much I want to be a reporter and also how much I love talking about beauty. So my friend and I decided to stop and talk to women in Soho and ask them about their beauty regimen. We met some really amazing women from all ethnicities but we'll start it off with a fellow Dominicana. Meet Stephanie, a 21 year old with a unique style, who just doesn't care! I love Dominicanas who embrace their African roots. FYI: It was really humid in NY on Sat so my hairs a HOT MESS. lol. Here's the link

Dark Circles-No way! & New Giveaway!
I love love Mr. DE. He’s my heart and soul and there’s nothing I wouldn’t do for him. However, there is one thing about him that drives me absolutely crazy. At exaclty 12 in the morning, he begins to snore. I’m not talking about low sounding snores. NOOOOOOOOOOO, I’m talking about the most obnoxiously loud snores you’ve ever heard. I sometimes wonder if my neighbors can hear him. I can be in the most blissful sleep of my life, and will suddenly be awaken by the disgusting sounds coming from his nose. It kills me. Lately, it’s been happening every night, so usually I wake him up and make him sleep in the living room but I can still hear him even when he’s all the way in the next room. It drives me nuts, and I loose a lot of sleep because of it. Now, since my average sleep is about 3 hours a night, you would think my eyes would be loaded with dark circles. Not at all! You know DE wants to stay looking 21 forever so I make sure to prevent any damage to my face. I’ve mentioned this brand to you before, and honestly, I can’t believe how effective this woman’s products are. I’m a blogger so I get tons of products but this brand stands out to me so much because I do actually see serious results. Jan Marini Factor A for Dark Circles, makes me look as if I get tons of sleep at night.
It’s loaded with vitamin K and retinol. Vitamin K is known for repairing blood vessels and decreasing hyperpigmentation in the skin and and retinol decreases appearances of lines and wrinkles. After sleeping for only 3 hours per night, I should have dark circles like mad, but because I’ve been using this every night, I still look refreshed……..and like I’m 21. lol
I love this, and I want you to love it too.
I'm giving away a brand new bottle of Jan Marini's Factor A for Dark Circles. Send an e-mail to BeautylogicBlog@yahoo.com telling me why you need this product. Winner gets announced Thursday.
Hugs,
DE

Don't Compare Yourself & Winner Of Jessica Line.
One of the reasons I think there are so many “haters” in this world is because many people feel the need to compare themselves to someone else. If you do that, PLEASE STOP IT RIGHT NOW! The problem with comparing yourself to others is that in your heart you’ll never win because if you are comparing yourself, it’s because you feel that you are lacking something within yourself. I’m here to tell you that everyone has their own path, their own look, their own style, but there’s only one you. Not to sound corny, but this is true. Last week I was hanging with my friend at her house, when her cousin came to visit. I couldn’t believe how beautiful this girl was. Long black curly hair, beautiful bronze skin, full lips, blue green eyes, the girl took my breath away. The funny thing was, she was shocked at how friendly I was to her. She told me that other women usually didn’t like her, and she was embarrassed to say it was because they thought she was prettier than them. That was interesting to me. I don’t ever meet someone and think “Oh my god, she’s prettier than me.” I don’t compare myself. It’s not good for your heart, and definitely not good for your self-worth. But I also don’t do it because I feel good about myself, and you should too. Growing up Mommie would always tell me this, “In life, there is always going to be someone more beautiful than you, more successful than you, smarter than you, but there is only one you and you’re amazing.” Love yourself, accept yourself, and never ever compare yourself to anyone. You have your own path, your own journey in life, your own look (and DE knows you’re a beauty) and comparing yourself to anyone will only drag you down, and turn you into the dreaded word, “hater”. No one likes a Hater. If you feel bad about yourself, do what I do every morning. I wake up and believe me, I don’t wake up looking glamorous. I've got pimple cream all over my face, eye boogers, my hairs a curly crazy mess, but I look in the mirror and say “DE, You’re Beautiful” and then I smile. You’ll be surprised at how good that will make you feel.
Please Love yourself, I do.
Winner of Jessica Cosmetics Spring line is Tracy Mew.
I’m having a new giveaway soon for a fantastic product that has helped a lot with my dark circles.
Big Hugs,
DE

Don't Let the Negativity Get You Down!
Besides talking about Beauty products, the purpose of my blog is to empower women. I feel that instead of being positive towards each other, sometimes women can be incredibly competitive, and not encouraging. I hope that you’ll all share your wonderful experiences here or even with me personally so we can all praise each other.
Yesterday I had a negative experience with someone whom I know is my friend, but I guess she was having a bad day. My friend and I went to dinner and she had asked me if I ever felt bad that I had left my pretty lucrative gig in finance to live in virtual poverty as an aspiring reporter. She kept talking about there was no way I could be happy with how broke I was and how I virtually lived on peanut butter and Jelly sandwiches (which is not true at all, one thing I know how to do is cook delish foods on a budget). For about 5 minutes I allowed her to keep shunning my decisions, and keep telling me that I was a broke dreamer, etc, and then finally when she saw that she wasn’t eliciting a response from me, she stopped, and then I finally answered her. It was interesting because I wasn’t angry at her, but sadder. I realized that she wasn’t a risk taker, and I also realized that although she did have a great paying job, she was miserable and fearful. I told her that after hearing her chastise me, I knew more than ever that my decision to leave my great paying, crappy job to pursue something that I absolutely loved was the best thing I’d ever done. Yes I’m broke (but I also grew up broke and being a little broke never killed anyone) but I’m happy. I’m happy because I know that this dream will come true soon, and although the little jobs that I pursue now to make money aren’t as great paying as my old finance gigs, I’m at peace. I remember when I worked in Finance, and how miserable I felt every morning having to go to that job. I hated it! Now I wake up in absolute harmony! And although there have been a lot of naysayers, I never listen. I keep dreaming, and I hope you guys will too. One of my favorite authors Paulo Coelho has an amazing quote that is my signature on my e-mail. “There is only one thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve; the fear of failure’ and here’s another quote I love “It is never too late to be who you could have been”. Please remember that, and pursue your dreams!
Big Hugs to you!
Have a great weekend.

Winner of Lancome's New Genifique
Hey guys, sorry it took so long for me to announce the winner of Genifique but for some reason blogger wouldn't allow me to publish anything. Anyway the winner of Lancome's new Genifique is Tami. Please email me your info within 2 days or we will give prize to someone else
Lancome Genifique is a Winner & New Giveaway!
I’ve stated to you before besides being busy, one of the reasons I haven’t been blogging as much lately is because of the lack of beauty products that I’m loving. I only blog about products that I absolutely adore! Besides being a reporter, my goal in life is to stay looking 21 forever.lol. As a woman in my twenties I make sure to use anti-aging products every single day (I hope you do too)! Lancome recently gave me a bottle of their newest creation Genifique, and I really think this product lives up to the hype. Lancome worked on this product with the hospital centre of Quebec University of Laval and the president of Lancome says that this product will turn make protein levels return to the levels of younger skin. As you know, I always say the proof is in the pudding. I’ve been trying this or about 10 days now. I apply before my serums and moisturizer. The product sinks right in and my skin felt like pure silk, and so smooth. After my serum and moisturizer were on, my skin glowed. Even my soon to be mother- in-law noticed the difference. I’ll def be making this apart of my beauty regime. It really is great!
And guess what, I want you to love this too.
I’m giving away a bottle of Lancome’s New Genifique! It doesn’t come out till April, but you know DE never lets her readers wait! Send an email to beautylogicblog@yahoo.com telling me why you need Genifique in your life. Contest ends Wednesday.
Big Hugs,
