Hey Honeybunns,
I did a review on Amla oil on youtube. If you don't want to watch the 3.5 minute video, just know that I wasn't loving the oil,and I think i'll stick to my coconut oil. People keep asking me for the link where coconut oil is proven to work on the hair. Here's the link http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/12715094
Here's my Amla Oil Youtube:
I hope you can see it. I just loaded it so it may take some time.
What do you think my next video should be?
1) Hair tonic
2) how to get arms like Michelle Obama?
3) How to blow dry your hair like a Dominican?
Please e-mail me and let me know.
Hugs,
DE

my vote is for dominican blowdrying
How to blow dry your hair like a Dominican?
hands down dominican blowdrying :)
I think you should do videos on all three! Yes, all three!!! :) I'll go along w/ everyone else and request the Dominican blowdrying next! :)
hair tonic!!!
PS i second the mediocre review on Amla oil...I tried it, and used 3 whole bottles full, & just didn't love the results! And it wasn't just the smell...I actually grew to like that, but...I believe that I can actually see the improvement in my hair when I use coconut oil, but i felt the Amla just sat on my hair/scalp w/o absorbing!!! I know Indian women swear by it, and they have some of the most beautiful hair in the world, but...I think that's more good genes than the oil! I'm w/ you, DE! Sticking to my coconut oil!!!
Love, Michelle
Dominian Blowout!! :)
DE- We have been waiting for the HAIR TONIC details and promised video FOREVER. Not trying to be demanding but First things First!
I'm out numbered but I would love to have arms like M O. All 3 would be great. :o)
Voting for: How to blow dry your hair like a Dominican

I am cosigning the hair tonic with a close second on the dominican blowdrying technique.

HAIR TONIC!
HAIR TONIC!
HAIR TONIC!

The Amla does smell - but it feels great to me. I use it at night and place a satin bonnet on my hair. In the morning I rub in a little bit of coconut oil. Wow I couldn't stop feeling how wonderful it felt.
I agree about the mineral oil - me hair no likee. For an amla hair oil without mineral oil try Lakshmi's Cupboard (an online store). Ingredients: Natural Sesame Seed oil, Ayurvedic Emblica offinalis (Amla), Piper longum, Tinospora cordifolia.
