How was your fourth of July weekend girls? Mine was fun. Saturday and Sunday I just hung out at home, and yesterday Mr.Milly and I had cool date night. We’ll talk more about that later but let’s get to beauty now.
Today, we’re talking about See The Light Lip gloss. How cool is this? A lip gloss with a built in LED light. I love that. I always use my blackberry light to look for stuff in my bag, now I can use my lip gloss. I also love that it has a mirror built into it too. How convenient!
This gloss feels very hydrating on the lips, and it contains ingredients like marine collagen (which is supposed to plump up the lips) and anti-aging ingredients like grape seed, green tea and avocado oil! My lips did look a little fuller after using this. This taste delicious too, like peppermint. . The shade I was sent was starlust which is a sheer nude shade with gold sparkles.
My qualm with this product is the longevity. I didn’t feel that this product lasted long at all, and after about two hours, I definitely needed to re-apply.
I'd give this a B on my beauty scale because I love the ingredients, the way it feels on my lips, and the way it looks when applied.
Anyway back to July 4th weekend.
Yesterday hubby and I had date night. We went to see the new XMEN movie which was amazing!!
FYI: If you ever come to NYC, the best movie theater to go to is the Lincoln Center one.
After the movie we dined at an Italian restaurant called Fiorellos, and for dessert we shared a delicious strawberry cheesecake. A women came up to hubby while we were eating and asked him if he was The Rock. It was hilarious.
Then I came home to this. He was so happy to see us. Although I think he was upset that we left him out of date night. Thank you to Lancome for sponsoring our giveaway: Winner picked my random. org is comment #5 which is ElaineA.

Hey I think that's me!!!! I will send you an email to confirm :) Thanks!
Hey Milly,
Thanks for that Lancome review. I must try it! I'm always looking for great make up that looks fab on-air. The pink may not show up on my skin, so I may have to try another color or maybe go with a lip liner that's a bit more saturated. It's tough for us dark skinned girls. lol. But, we make it work.
Your son is soooooo adorable. Love his curls!
