Neutrogena Naturals Purifying Facial Cleanser & Shout Out to Mom
One day when I was in my teens, my mom walked into the bathroom with a huge garbage bag, and began grabbing all of our soaps and body washes and throwing them inside the bag. At first I didn't mind. For the last few months, she's been acting a little strange. (I didn't know at the time it was because she'd been diagnosed with cancer of the lymph glands.) She'd stopped eating meat. Started only making raw veggies for herself, and wheat grass concoctions in the morning. Started yoga three times a week and meditating constantly. So I was used to her doing unusual stuff. I didn't even mind her throwing things away, until she grabbed my Bath & Body Mango Body Wash, and threw it inside the bag too. "What are you doing?" I asked her, while trying to grab my beloved wash out of the bag. She grabbed my hand, and gave me a stern look, "For now on, we are only using natural products." From then on while living with my parents, all we used were natural washes, and soaps. Even our laundry detergent was natural. Even now, years later, I still favor natural products. Although as a beauty blogger/editor I can't just stick to natural since I have to test various things. But, I'm really loving Neutrogena Naturals Purifying Facial Cleanser. Click below to read my review and find out why I'm congratulating my mom:
The cleanser does a few things that I like. One: it doesn't leave my skin dry, which is great considering that it contains a natural source of salycylic acid from willowbark. Salcylic Acid aways dries out my skin. When I use in conduction with my clarisonic, I find that it leaves my skin insanely clean with no tightness at all. I like how the back of the bottle shows me all of the natural sources where the ingredients are derived from. My qualm with this is, why do you have fragrance? If you're going to label your product Neutrogena Naturals, go for the gusto, and be 100% natural. Besides the fragrance, I do like it.
This week is pretty special. It marks 15 years my mom is Cancer Free. Docs told her she needed chemo, but my mom believed in herself, in her abilities to heal herself, and she did. My mom is an example to me, that anything is possible.
Do you like natural products?
What are your fave ones?
Have you tried Neutrogena Naturals?
Hugs,
Milly
