Sofia Vergara Vanity Fair's Oscars Party Makeup 2012

Sofia Vergera is like fine wine; she gets better year by year. I'm noticing something lately.  Many of the most stunning women I saw on the Oscars red carpet yesterday or after parties were like 35 and up! I love it!!!! I still can't believe that Sofia has a 20 year old son. Anyway, here's her look courtesy of Covergirl:

Sexy Italian movie star, Sophia Loren, was our inspiration for Sofia's beauty look.

·         I first applied COVERGIRL NatueLuxe Silk Foundation in Nutmeg all over her face, blending into the neck.  I then used COVERGIRL TRUconceal Concealer in #4 under the eyes and around the edges of the nose, just where needed to keep the makeup from looking heavy. To set the look, I used COVERGIRL Clean Pressed Powder in Soft Honey, but kept it light to keep from looking cakey.

·         I wanted to do a heavily lined eye to give it that sexy Italian feel, so I used COVERGIRL Queen Collection Vivid Impact Eyeliner in Truffle and applied a thick line from the inner to outer corner, giving it a wing shape.  I then applied the liner along the bottom lashes from the outer corner to the very inner corner.  I used COVERGIRL Queen Collection 1-Kit Eye Shadows in Copper Penny along the bottom lashes and at the outer corner of the eye. I then used COVERGIRL Queen Collection 1-Kit Eye Shadows in Fire It Up in the crease and towards the inner corner of the eye. I finished the eyes with three coats of COVERGIRL LashBlast 24HR Mascara in Very Black so that the lashes would look bold and beautiful throughout the evening.

·         I lined the lips first with COVERGIRL LipPerfection Lipliner in Beloved and then filled them in with COVERGIRL LipPerfection Lipcolor in Entwined using a lip brush. I then went back over with the lip liner to prevent the lipstick from bleeding.

·         Since we had done a similar look at a shoot the day before, I knew exactly what Sofia wanted to achieve for the party with just a few slight changes. We know all of the COVERGIRL lip colors so well that we went with the shade we love the most to complete the overall look. Before she left for the party, I gave Sofia the powder and lip products we used so she could easily touch herself up throughout the night if she had to.

She looked so stunning!

FYI: I plan to dye my hair Sofia's color this summer. I'm going from black to that brown.

Hugs,

Milly

Shailene Woodley Oscars Hair 2012

Have you guys seen The Descendants? If not, it's a must-see. George Clooney at his best. And i really love the actress in the film Shailene Woodley. If you've ever see her in an interview, she's beyond cute, and sweet. I love her attitude. Anyway, she  was on the red carpet yesterday and we got the deets of her hairstyle from her stylist. Her dress was a little unexpected but hey.  Anyway, here's the beauty breakdown:

SHAILENE WOODLEY
STYLIST: Campbell McAuley for MATRIX
INSPIRATION: To compliment her Valentino Couture gown, stylist Campbell McAuley wanted to give Shailene a simple, glamorous hairstyle that would really pop. The high neckline and pattern of the fabric inspired a 70’s style textured chignon with a Moroccan twist. The wrapped pieces of the chignon were intended to mirror the textures of the dress.
STEP-BY-STEP:
- Starting with wet hair, applied MATRIX Total Results Amplify Wonder Boost Root Lifter to give the base of the hair volume
- Blowdried hair with a round brush to smooth the texture
- Set hair in Velcro rollers for one hour
- Removed rollers, brushed out curls and worked MATRIX Total Results Sleek Silk Wonder Smoothing Oil from roots to end for shine
- Gathered all hair into a textured ponytail at the crown of the head
- Twisted small sections of the ponytail and wrapped them up to the base of the hair to make a round shape
- Half way through, wrapped remaining sections around the round shape to give it a criss-cross texture
- Finished with MATRIX Design Pulse Hard Lock Hairspray to hold the style in place
PRODUCTS USED:
1) MATRIX Total Results Amplify Wonder Boost Root Lifter - $15
2) MATRIX Total Results Sleek Silk Wonder Smoothing Oil - $16
3) MATRIX Design Pulse Hard Lock Hairspray - $16

Paula Patton Oscars 2012 Vanity Fair Party Beauty & Makeup

Paula Patton is so darn beautiful, I can't take it. When she steps on my screen, seriously i can't stop staring (neither can Mr. Milly). (Random, but her eyebrows are my dream brows.) Last night at the Oscars Vanity Fair Party, she looked unbelievable. Here are deets of her makeup provided by Covergirl.

COVERGIRL Queen Collection Ambassador Paula Patton at Vanity Fair’s Oscar Party by Makeup Artist Fiona Stiles
·         After moisturizing  and prepping the lips with lip balm, I used a Beauty Blender and synthetic foundation brush to apply COVERGIRL Queen Collection Natural Hue Liquid Makeup in Rich Sand.  I added a little CoverGirl Queen Collection Natural Hue Concealer in Light where needed and a bit of COVERGIRL + Olay Simply Ageless Sculpting Blush in Lush Berry on the apples of the cheeks with a dual fiber brush, then set both of those creamy products with COVERGIRL Professional Loose Powder and a bit of COVERGIRLl Queen Collection Natural Hue Pressed Powder Light Bronze .  I filled in her brows using COVERGIRL Brow & Eyemakers Pencil in Midnight Brown and brushed them into place.

·         First I used a primer on the lids to make sure that the shadow doesn't budge.  Then I used a wash of the COVERGIRL Queen Collection Natural Hue Bronzer in Light Bronze & Brown Bronze from the lash line up towards the brow to add a little depth to the eye.  Then I lined the eyes with COVERGIRL LineBlast 24HR Eyeliner in Enduring Black, putting black liner in the waterline top and bottom.  I used COVERGIRL Queen Collection Vivid Impact Eyeliner in Truffle at the lashes so that there would be depth, but with a softer feeling than if it was rimmed in black.  I used COVERGIRL Queen Collection Natural Hue Bronzer in Brown Bronze over the liner on the inner corners of the eyes and used COVERGIRL Liquiline Blast Eyeliner in Black Fire at the outer corners to elongate the eye. Lots of COVERGIRL Queen Collection Lash Fanatic Mascara in Black added drama to the look.

·         We lined whole mouth with COVERGIRL Queen Collection Lasting Lip Pencil in Rose to define the lips and add longevity to the lip color. Then we applied COVERGIRL Queen Collection Lip Color in Penelope Pink

·         I always give my client blotting papers and their lip color to take with them for touch ups during the night, so Paula headed to the party with the Queen Collection lip color we used in case she needed to reapply. To find the perfect lip shade, we tried a few different shades of pink, some brighter, some more berry colored, but we went with the soft pink in the end and let the eye be the main focus of the look.

She looked amazing.

What did you think of Paula's look?

Is she your girl crush too?

Hugs,

Milly

Jennifer Lopez J LO Oscars Makeup and Beauty 2012

Did you girls see Jlo last night at the Oscars? As soon as I saw her on my screen, I yelled "YOU BETTER WERQ HONEY!" Mr. Milly looked at me like I was nuts, and so did lil man, but did you see that dress. She was KILLING IT!!!!! She's the mother of twins. I love it! That woman gets better with age. And her makeup looked flawless too. Here are the deets to her look provided by L'oreal.

JENNIFER LOPEZ - MAKEUP
Celebrity Hair Stylist: Mary Phillips
Step by Step How-To:
  • FACE – First, Mary highlighted Jennifer’s natural glow by mixing L’Oreal Paris True Match Super-Blendable Makeup in Sun Beige ($10.95) with LaMer The Reparative Body Lotion ($180) to create a dewy but even and  smooth canvas
  • CHEEKS – Mary dabbed L’Oreal Paris Magic Smooth Soufflé Blush in Cherubic on her cheeks for a subtle flush of color ($12.95)
  • EYESHADOW – Mary used two shadows to achieve Jennifer’s sultry eye: L’Oreal Paris Infallible 24H Eye Shadow in Eternal Black and Iced Latte ($7.95 each)
  • EYELINER – Mary created a winged cat eye with L’Oreal Paris Voluminous Smoldering Eyeliner in Brown ($8.95)
  • MASCARA – Mary completed the high drama effect of the eye with two coats of L’Oreal Paris Voluminous Million Lashes Mascara in Carbon Black ($8.95)
  • LIPS – Jennifer’s lip color was the final glamorous touch; L’Oreal Paris Infallible 8HR Le Gloss in Coral sands ($9.99)
  •
  • JENNIFER LOPEZ - HAIR
    Celebrity Hair Stylist: Lorenzo Martin
Inspirational Quote: “The look I created for Jennifer was inspired by the 60's. I wanted a gorgeous hairstyle that defined the graceful refined sophistication of that time to complement Jennifer's beautiful dress.”
    Step by Step How-To:
  • First, Lorenzo sprayed L’Oréal Paris EverStyle Volume Root Lifting Spray at the roots of Jennifer’s clean, damp hair to add extra volume before blow-drying it with a round medium-sized boar bristle brush.
  • After Jennifer’s hair was completely dry, Lorenzo distributed a dime-sized amount of L’Oréal Paris EverStyle Strong Hold Defining Gel evenly throughout her hair.
  • Next, he pulled her hair into a high ponytail, securing it with a metal-free elastic rubber band.
  • From there, Lorenzo split the ponytail into four different sections and teased each one. Once all four pieces were teased, he sprayed her hair with  L’Oréal Paris Elnett Satin Extra Strong Hold Unscented Hairspray.
  •  Next, Lorenzo took one of the four sections and looped the piece into the ponytail, securing it into place with bobby pins. He followed this step with the three other sections of hair – pinning each one in different directions (front, back and side to side) to create a complete bun.
  • To ensure there were no loose hairs or flyways and to maintain a sleek look, he added a bit of L’Oréal Paris EverStyle Smooth & Shine Serum.
  • Lastly, to finish off this effortless yet elegant style, he used L’Oréal Paris Elnett Satin Extra Strong Hold Unscented Hairspray lightly around all the hair.
  •
  • JENNIFER LOPEZ - NAILS
    Celebrity Manicurist: Tom Bachik
Inspirational Quote: “Jennifer Lopez's Oscar's look was all about 60’s glamour with a modern interpretation ... so it was important her nail look matched this overall feel and aesthetic. Jennifer loved the delicate shade of ‘Because You're Worth It’ - we were excited to try something a bit more modern for the red carpet and create a nail look that could transition throughout the night, as she has a couple of wardrobe changes. We drew inspiration for Jennifer's nail look from not only her red carpet gown, but also her makeup."
    Step by Step How-To:
  • First, Tom shaped her nails into a classic almond shape, but gave them a slight unexpected point at the tip for a modern take.
  • He then painted a sheer coat of L'Oreal Paris' Colour Riche Nail Polish in "Because You're Worth It" (a gorgeous warm, champagne gold shade - #580) before gilding the tips of her nails (in a V shape) in Colour Riche Nail Polish in Haute Couture Red (#470) - a vampy, burgundy wine hue.
Products Used:
  • L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche Nail Polish in "Because You're Worth It" – #580 in the "Iconic Muse" collection ($5.99)
  •
What did you think of Jlo's look?

Don't you think she gets better with age?

She is flawless!!!

Milly

New CVS Vid: Natural Ingredients I love for Beauty!

Please check out the vid I did with CVS talking about natural ingredients used for beauty.

They have a great convo going on at CVS Beauty board Facebook page about beauty secrets from different cultures. My mom would always use Sage tea on her hair to keep it black. Turns out, this is actually very popular in Native American Cultures too. I learned that from the page.

Check it out here.

Motives for LaLa Blushes: Quick Swatches

Hey loves, how was your weekend. Mine was great. Mr. Milly was gone for two weeks. He went to Cuba and finally came back Monday.  He brought back some Cuban coffee.  The key to my heart is good coffee and beauty products.   Have you ever had cuban coffee? It is so delish. Better than my beloved Cafe Bustelo.

Anyway, let's talk beauty, a few of you have asked me about Motives for La La Blushes. I'm going to a full review of them next week, but I though I'd give you guys some quick swatches. The pigmentation on all of these are insane. But I'll talk more about in depth next week.

From left to right: Centerfold, Vanity, Bossy, socialite, Carmel-la, and Envy
I know I haven't been blogging as much as of late, but as of next week I will be done with all of my deadlines, so we'll be back with more beauty and weekend updates.
What do you think of these LaLa blushes?

Carmel-la is unbelievably beautiful on tan skin. It gives my cheeks the most sunkissed,  glow ever.

What's your favorite coffee?

What are the keys to your heart?
You can never go wrong with beauty products and coffee for me.

Hugs,

Milly

Guest Post: HGTV Host Sabrina Soto: Closet Organization

Last week, I asked you girls to submit guests post since I've been a little crazy and I got some really cool entries. One of them was from Sabrina Soto  host of HGTV's Get it Sold, Real Estate Intervention. Sabrina is giving beautylogic readers tips on how to keep your closet organized! (As I told you girls before, I used to never be organized, now I can't stand clutter!) Here are her tips:

1)It may seem like common sense – but you would be surprised! Make sure that you keep your most-worn, everyday items in plain sight and store everything else that you use, every now and then, up high or down low, so that it’s out of the way.
2)Make sure that you have properly sized storage that is proportional to the items you are storing in them. Mix and match different units to make the most of your space. Hangers are for your dresses, suits, and shirts. Keep items that need to be folded in drawers, which can stack easily in your closet. This will give you space for small boxes for your miscellaneous items.

3) It may sound seem silly but keep your hangers uniform. Having hangers in the same color and style will keep your clothes looking nice and stay organized.

4)Lighting is important! Make sure to add a light fixture, if you do not already have a light source in your closet. When your closet is properly lit, you can properly utilize the space.

5)Make sure that you use horizontal storage, above and below the closet rod. Use shelf dividers to keep your accessories, like purses and shoes, neatly sorted.

6)Color-coding is very useful! When you know what you want to wear – you will know where to find it!

Thanks Sabrina-

Great Tips!

Milly

Therapy Thursdays: Ways to be a Power Woman #2

So, today my girlfriend is back with her advice Ways To Be A Power Woman #2. If you dont remember Ways to be a Power Woman #1 click here. Since the last time she wrote, she's been in Hong Kong for over  month, got featured in a mag, and is loving her new insane apartment,  but she's back now with her new Power Woman Tips. Anyway, here she goes:

1) Business Cards-Always carry them with you even to the gym and supermarket. I've made some great business contacts at the gym, and yes even at the supermarket. You never know who you will meet anywhere, bring your cards to church if you have to. And take as many cards as you can from anyone, no matter what someone does, and save them,   because you never know who you will need at any point in your life. 0ne time,  I had come from work super late, and had a meeting the next morning. My hair looked a mess. I needed to get it done before this meeting but my salon didn't open till 12. Because I had broken my wrist, I couldn't do it myself. I remembered this woman who had randomly given me her card a few months earlier, when I was at my corner bodega. She told me she was closing her shop and doing peoples hair at their home.   I called her and she came the next morning-she did my hair, she still does my hair to this day.  Take everyone's card no matter what they do, and always have yours on hand too.

2)Organized. Be organized in everything you do. Being messy, or not knowing where things are is never a good look-especially for a woman. If you're organized, you'll know exactly where things are, where you put them, and you'll be quick to find them. So much time is wasted just looking for things. I know exactly where everything is in my office because I have an organizational system. Being organized will increase your efficiency substantially.

3) Don't be Afraid to Ask Questions-At my new job, they have a program that I've never worked with before. Their plan was to only train me for two hours in this program. I quickly knew that I would need a lot more time. And I did. I ended up making them train me for 8 hours, took copious notes, and asked a million questions-even ones I knew would sound stupid. I could care less how they sounded. I now know that program like the back of my head, and  one of my coworkers who has been at the job a year longer than me, is asking me  how to do certain things with the program. Don't ever be afraid to ask questions. If you sound stupid, who the heck cares. What's stupid is acting like you know something when you don't.

4) Don't ish were you sleep. So many women I know have relations with men they work with. Don't do it! I've seen it end badly every time. It may be tempting. Maybe you have been single for a while, or he's hot etc. Take my advice from personal experience and from what I've seen, don't do it. 95% of the time it ends badly.

5) Respect At Work-Your work is where you should be taken seriously. I hate to say this, but try to keep your personal life out of the office.  No one at my job knows too much about me, except my academic and work accomplishments, and that's it. That's all they need to know. Also, at work, I make sure that I'm always taken seriously. There's a few girls in my office who are way too friendly with each other and with other men in the office. I don't believe in that either. All of my friends are outside of work and that's how I like it. They see my crazy side. They know that I'm not always serious. But  at work,  I'm all business. Guess what, the real friendly girls, and the ones who are always calling people "hon" and "sweety" (I hate that by the way.) don't have the corner office, but guess who does? Me.  Being liked is great, but being respected holds more weight at work. Now I'm not saying be a bitch, not at all. But remember that this is your job, not your hang out spot.

6) Don't Waste Work Time-I know a lot of people who spend their time on either facebook or twitter when they could be working. That's a big mistake. I have a facebook account too but only use it at home. The time you're spending on those sites, could be used to be doing something to advance your career. Remember that.

Ok hope this helped.

Milly's friend"

My Beauty Smoothie

Hey loves,

So I get a lot of emails from you girls asking me advice on why your hair isn't growing, or maybe your skin isn't looking it's best.  Many of you tell me that you've tried everything, but then when I ask you about your diet, a lot of times I don't hear back from you, or you tell me that you don't eat so great. I'm here to tell you that yes, there are some people who are just lucky. They are born with fabulous hair and skin. (My siblings are examples of that.) But some people (like myself) have to work on it. I don't eat great. Matter of fact I was eating a left over oxtail just a few minutes ago. But, I always try to make a smoothie in the morning that's loaded with vitamins and minerals because the truth is hair and skin health do start from within. I notice the difference when I drink the smoothie: my nails become stronger,  skin looks more radiant,  and hair growth.  My manicurist always cuts my nails way too short every single time (I can't stop going to her though because she gives amazing hand massages-best I've ever had). But I never go crazy with her cutting my nails anyway because seriously my nails grow insanely quick-when I'm drinking the smoothie. When I'm not, I notice my nails are brittle, and aren't as strong.  Anyway, here's my morning smoothie.

1) Blender-I don't believe you need to spend gazillions on a blender. Mine was $50.00 and does everything I need it to do. Right now it's on sale for $29.99
2) Coconut water-I love Harmless Harvest Coconut Water. I used to drink Zico, but Harmless Harvest is s much better and it alone contains like 2 grams of protein with way less sugar.

3) Kale-According to Whole Foods Kale, is the most nutritious green you can buy. It is loaded with vitamins and minerals.
4) Spinach, Spinach is right after Kale in nutrition

Now if I just ate these things alone, I would never want to drink my smoothie because it would taste horrible. But, the secret to wanting to drink your smoothie is making it taste good.  I always throw in:

5)Frozen blueberries-powerful antioxidant, and proven to make belly fat disappear.
6)Frozen strawberries-taste good, and is one of the more nutritious berries.
7)Apple-Fills you up and is loaded with nutrients as well.
8)Banana- loaded with potassium
9)Garden of Life Raw Protein -18 grams of vegan protein in this.

I mix all of these together for about 5 minutes in my blender. And when It comes out, it's yummy, very healthy and delicious and it makes such a huge difference when taking it.
By the way always brush your teeth after eating this. There have been many times where I have forgotten to brush my teeth afterwards and have smiled at peeps with massive green stuff all over my teeth. Not cute!

Hope this helps you!

Hugs,

Milly

Lorac Lips With Benefits Lip Glosses Review and Swatches

So Lorac has just released their new Lorac Lips With Benefit Glosses.  When I first received the glosses. I was intrigued by the gorgeous tubes and by the names of the glosses themselves. Lorac describes the tubes as " a menage-a-trois of swirling striped hues." The tubes themselves are just so beautiful and a real attention getter. Also the names of the glosses, had me doing a lot of thinking. There's Chris, Mark, Ben (what do these three names have in common?). I'll give you a minute..........Ok, you've had enough time. Are these lip glosses named after all of Jlo's exes? Did you guys think that too? Or am I the only one who is a little obsessed with Jlo and thinks that everyone has got to be talking about her? Anyway,  I also received the gloss Nick, but I don't remember Jlo ever dating a Nick... Maybe I"m looking too much into this. Whatever it is, please click below too see swatches and read my review:

Mally Beauty & Sally Hansen At Tracy Reese Fall 2012 & Mally's Secret For long lasting Marriage

Hey my loves, this week has been crazy. I had 16 fashion shows scheduled and out of the blue my babysitter tells me she can't come for a week.  So, needless to say I was a little annoyed, and since Mr. Milly is away on business, it's been super hard to get to the shows, but one backstage show I would never miss is TRACY REESE. And that's because my love Mally Roncal is the beauty guru behind that show. You girls know how much Mally means to me. She was the first person that we ever got an interview with, and she's always so much fun. Anyway, the look at Tracy Reese was actually very wearable. Mally said " I have to say, this might be my FAVORITE look that Tracy and I have ever created! It is fresh, modern, cool, and just as wearable and appropriate off the runway as it is on the runway!"

The skin was flawless with a  bit of bronze, and  super highlighted.  Mally used her Lip magnifier in cafe, which is more on the neutral side with a hint of rose.  The star of the beauty look was the brows and eyeliner. I always get excited when Mally comes out with a new eyeliner because I truly think her's are one f the best. I once asked Joyce Bonelli (Kim K's makeup artist) what's the one product she can't live without. Her answer, "Mally Eyeliner."
The eyeliner used was pencil eyeliner. There were a few different kinds, electric blue, electric teal, electric purple.  Mally didn't want it to look too retro. She really wanted it to look as if the girls applied it themselves. The eyes were inspired by Tracy's collection, which was super colorful. Totally un-releated, but look how stunning this model is. I couldn't stop photographing her.

Again totally random (but you girls should know how I am by now)I asked Mally and her husband what the secret is to their long marriage is, in unison they both said, "lots of sex."

Ok so the nails were stunning. The colors were by Sally Hansen, Scarab which was a gorgeous shimmery blue and Copperhead- a beautiful metallic copper. These polishes were new technology exclusive to Sally Hansen. They almost looked like foils. And they used real silver to create the glow.  Really Beautiful. The polish is so new, the collection doesn't even have a name yet.

Loving both of those colors.

What do you think of the makeup and nails?

Do you love it?

What do you think about Mally's marriage advice?

Hugs,

Milly

Guest Post: Butter London Powder Room Remover

Hey loves, our first guest post is by Vonnie. Today she's reviewing Butter London's Powder Room Remover.

"I am a complete nail polish fiend and have always been; I used to change my nail polish to match my outfit every single day in high school.  One side issue with doing so, however, were the toxic fumes from most nail polish removers.  I swear, I don't know why I didn't invest in a gas mask with the strong smell that most of them exude!

Well, no more worries about that!  Butter London has created "Powder Room" acetone free remover and this stuff is so darling.  It comes in a bottle adorned with lace that looks like something Marilyn Monroe would have on her vanity and the smell is lovely!  It lives up to its name, smelling like soft powder that you'd sweep on with a fluffy powder puff, not at all like nail polish remover!

Not only does it smell amazing, it also takes off polish in two swipes which I find to be uber beneficial.  I don't have to scrub at my nails, do any chants to get polish off, beg, plead, or sell my first born.  It just easily swipes off!   I have gone through two bottles of this stuff and want to continuously use it! :)"

Vonnie this stuff sounds great, thanks for sharing the review.

New Nars Diamond Life Review and Swatches

When it comes to purple, well we all know I'm a little addicted. The color of this website is purple. My blackberry is purple. My comforter is purple. My favorite shirts all have purple in them.  My favorite tie of Mr. Milly's is purple. So I'm all about the purple, and when I saw how gorgeous the new  Nars Diamond Life Purple polish looked on my nails, well it was love at first application.

The Nars Diamond Life Purple Polish isn't just an ordinary purple. No, it's a medium purple  with  bits of silver shimmer.. The color is oh so pretty and very attention getting. While wearing this, two women on the subway asked me what polish it was. My only qualm with this product is it can be a little streaky. Two of my nails looked streaky even after three coats.

What do you think of this Nars Diamond Life?

Do you love it?

What's your favorite purple?

CVS Coconut Oil Vid

Hey guys,  How was your weekend? Are you a Giants fan or a Patriots fan? Do you know, I don't even understand the game of football. So since I was attending a superbowl party on Sunday, I tried to teach myself Football Saturday night. It didn't work. I just ended up cheering when everyone else cheered and booing when everyone else did too. Anyway, Please check out the vid I did for CVS talking about my obsession with Coconut oil.

How are you guys?

Random & Peoples Choice Award Thanks

Hey loves, I'm sorry I haven't posted too much this week. I've got a new side gig doing beauty for the premier issue of Cosmo Latina. The mag debuts in May.  You girls know how I am! I don't play when it comes to reviewing products so I've just been insanely busy testing, and writing.  I also have a really bad cough that hasn't gone away in four days and coughing all day can really wear you out.   (Any recommendations on how to get rid of a cough?) My aunt used to make me boil an onion and drink the  yucky tasting water, (old Dominican secrets). Anyway,  I hope you girls like the mag. We're doing a lot of fun things with it, and I thought of my amazing readers while writing my beauty stories Here are some random things though:

1) Juliana-you are the winner of the viviscal, please get back to me within two days or this will go to someone else. I have a lot of cool giveaways coming soon, but remember you must like the Beautylogicblog facebook page to enter.

I know the Peoples Choice Awards were almost a month ago, but I totally forgot to thank a few peeps who helped me get ready for my 5 minutes of fame.  I'd like to thank JJ Lashes for bringing out my inner fierce with the black diamond pair of lashes (You can still get my beautylogic discount till feb 8) and a shellac mani!

The Damone Roberts salon, specifically Maria who hooked my eyebrows up! Check out the Before and After of my Eyebrows. The "Before" might scare you. Click Below:
