New Borghese Spring Rapido Nail Polish Collection Part 1

Do you know what "rapido" means in Spanish? It means, fast. I guess it means the same thing in Italian because the new  Borghese Rapido Spring collection definitely does dry  fast and contains 12 shades in bold brights and chic neutrals. I really love this collection. Some are super bright and  floral, others are very pretty neutrals with a hint of sparkle. Today will be part 1, and I'll swatch six colors for you. Tomorrow I will swatch the other six.  Now, as I said, I did enjoy this collection, however, my only qualm with it is a few shades had to be applied three times to really get an opaque look to them. I love that Borghese doesn't contain Dibutylphtalates, Toluene and Formaldehyde. I'm loving that nail polish companies are removing those harmful chemicals from their products. The First Color is called Vignetto. This is a very pretty  medium purple color. However, this is one of the colors that I had to apply three times to get an opaque finish.

The second is Marino. Marino is just a hint darker than sky blue, no glitter or sparkles with this one. Although this pic contains 2 coats, I think I might have loved it with three.

Mochaccino is a work perfect medium brown color! No sparkles or glitter in this one either. Two coats is all you need with this one.

Chroma is surprisingly one of my fave colors. It's a very rich silver, loaded with sparkle. I really was surprised at how cool this looked on my nails. One coat with this one is all you need but here's two.

Siena is another one of my faves. It's a very pretty Sienna brown, but the hint of sparkle really takes it to the top. This is two coats.

And Rosso. You girls know how i feel about my reds. I love red polish!  I just read that when a woman wears red, she appears 30% more attractive looking than normal. You know I ordered like 5 red shirts and lingerie this week after reading that. lol Anyway, Rosso is a gorgeous sexy fire engine red.This is two coats.

De's loving LLamasqua Fern Polish

Sorry that I haven't posted in a few days. Trying to take over the world is insane. I wanted to talk to you sugarplums about a nail polish that I'm loving by this company named LLamasqua. Cute Name. The brand is apparently just a year old, and is already made it's mark. They're already being sold in the Sephora in Times Square. (I think that's the biggest one in the world.) Anyway, I am addicted to their Fern nailpolish. It's a rich shade of sky blue, that I'm obsessed with. Here's the shade, (I'm wearing it today.)

I normally don't wear blue to work, but for some reason I think this one is acceptable (or maybe I just want it to be.)

ZOYA'S TRUTH COLLECTION IS THE TRUTH!

You guys know how much I love to paint my nails. The problem with painting my nails is because I’m always typing, usually my colors chip within a few days. However, with Zoya’s new Truth Polish, it took 4 days for one color to even begin chipping. The Zoya truth collection is a gorgeous array of six luscious shades, perfect for the falll months.



Here are some swatches.

The first color is Anaka, a stunnng fuschia with sparkles. Now check this out. This is Anaka after six days. Do you see how little it has chipped. I’m amazed!



The second shade is Isla (which in Spanish means island). A sexy luxurious red.


The Third Shade is called Salma, It’s a tricky shade of red/orange. I say tricky because it looks a light red in the bottle but once applied, I feel it has more of an lustrous orange to it. It’s beautiful.


The fourth shade is Drew. It’s a gorgeous shade of mauve. I love the classiness of this. Perfect for work.


The Fifth Shade is Penny. It’s a beautiful gold, but for some reason looks orange on my camera.


The last shade is Kalmia. It’s a beautiful golden pink. I love love love it.

DE's LOVING ZOYA'S FALL LIMITED EDITION MATTE VELVET

As you guys know DE is a nailpolish junkie. I love love nailpolish. Rarely do I ever match my toes with my fingers. There are way too many nailpolish shades for all that. Anyway, I recently discovered the Zoya nailpolish line, and I’m hooked for a few reasons. First of all this nailpolish is Formaldehyde, Toluene, Dibutyl Phthlate and Camphor free. The colors last forever –seriously, I had a shade on for more than four days before I needed to reapply on my fingers (that never happens) and the drying time is very fast-especially for their new Limited Edition Matte Velvet Collection. These colors are just so beautiful and rich, and look fab on my nails. Although these are meant for the fall, I’m already wearing the Posh Matte Shimmer on my nails. This gorgeous red is stunning. I love red polish. There’s no shine to them, just a rich, intense matte red. I love it.



The other two shades are incredibly vampy and sexy. The Loredanda is a grey infused with some glitter. I’m loving it too, and will definitely be wearing it with a hot red dress that I have.



The last color is Dovima a seductive shade of black. Black polish has never been a part of DE’s regimen until now. I’m thinking of changing it up this year, with some hot red lipstick, and black polish (I could drive Mr. DE crazy with all this sexiness!)lol.

New Summer Collection Sally Hansen HD Colors

Summer is here, and it’s all about the bright and vibrant colors.
Sally Hansen’s new HD Collection is no exception.


These bright, and beautiful colors, that look stunning on the fingernails.
The application of this was a little difficult though. The polish is kind of watery, and it wouldn’t apply evenly at first. But after a while I think I mastered the application.

First color is a stunning purple called CYBER
I love how rich and beautiful this color is.



Second is a gorgeous bright sunny yellow called LITE.


Third is a gorgeous bright orange. It’s so pretty. The color is called THREE-D


I’m in love with blues this year. This Blue is no exception. The color is such a rich hue. It’s called BLU


Greens are still so in! This is a stunning lightly stated green. Love it.
The color is HI-DEF

NEW SALLY HANSEN -INSTA DRI COLORS & GIVEAWAY

Sally Hansen’s Coral Rush- A luxuriously super bright pinkish red. Just stunning on tan skin.



Sally Hansen’s Brisk Blue-This is my favorite color, It’s so bright, and blue. It just makes me happy!



Sally Hansen’s Flyin Fuschia-Another exquisitely light pinkish red. Not as bright as Coral Rush, so it makes it a little more appropriate for work.



Sally Hansen’s Lickety-Split Lime-Last year I had an addiction to green polishes, but this year I thought I’d put them away. But after finding this color, I may just keep green in my collection.



Sally Hansen’s Rapidly Rosy-a bright and gorgeous pink. My second favorite color



Sally Hansen’s Lemon Dash-A sunny and breathtaking yellow.

Borghese New Spring Line = BreathTaking!

You readers know how much I love to glam up my nails. I think beautifully painted nails are so girly and pretty. Borghese new spring collection is absolutely stunning with its gorgeous array of purples and pinks (two of my favorite colors-especially for the spring.) The inspiration of this stunning collection was a classic italigan garden. They contain Borghese Aqua diVita complext to help restore moisture to the nails. I love Borghese's big brushes too. I can paint my nails a lot faster.



The colors are Argento Mist, Campanula Bellflower, Piccola Tulip, Primula Primrose, Peonia Blossom, Giardino Heather.
My camera isn't working so I used my ancient old camera to take this pic of my fingers with the Argento Mist on. It truly is a stunning shade of lavender (You really can't see how gorgeous it is). Love Love Loves it!

Golden Nail Goddess

I never used to like Gold nail polishes, but this winter I got turned on to them, and now I'm hooked.
