Give Me Mor! Mor Marshmallow Body Butter

Photobucket
On one of my recent trips to TJ Maxx, I spotted a cute little pink jar. It was a body butter by a company called Mor. The scent was called Marshmallow. Since I’d never tried a marshmallow scent, I knew I had to grab this, and honeys, I am so happy I did. (I was so happy the next day I picked up the Marshmallow Body Souffle, and Mor’s Pistachio Body cream.) The company is Australian based and was started in 2001. Anyway, before I go to bed, I always like to lather my skin with a subtle scented and very moisturizing lotion. I try to change the scent every day. Mr. DE always remarks when he likes the scent, and if he doesn’t say anything, I know not to wear it to bed again.
We are loving this stuff. First of all this contains, avocado oil, shea & cocoa butter, rosehip seed oil, retinol, and some other super highly nourishing ingredients. It leaves my skin feeling so super moisturized, and it soaks right in. I absolutely adore the scent a delicious blend of vanilla and jasmine. Hubby noticed it right away and loved it. He told me that he wants me to wear it to bed more often. In other words, he wants Mor!

Have you ever heard of Mor?

5 Drugstore Products That Could Be Sold In Sephora

Hey guys, don’t think I’ve been lazy with my blogging. Not true, just been so busy, but I’ve missed you so much. But in the meantime, let’s compile our 5 Drugstore products that could be sold in Sephora list.

1) Caress Brown Sugar Body Scrub
Photobucket

This is probably one of my favorite body exfoliators. The granules aren't harsh at all, and my skin is super moisturized after. The scent of this is a delish vanilla as well. I love it.

2) Alpha Hydrox Souffle 12%
Photobucket
Alright mamas, as you girlies know, when you get zits, you hate them, absolutely want to get rid of them, but sometimes when you get rid of them, it’s worse than when you actually had them because you get left with those dreaded dark marks. Well the Alpha Hydrox 12% Soufflé is probably one of the best things I've used to get rid of those dreaded dark marks. Literally marks that took months to go away, were gone in a month after I began to use this. It’s fabulous

3) Covergirl Lash Blash Length
Photobucket
Mascara is one of my obsessions, and this one has just been added to my makeup bag. I was obsessed with the original Lash Blash (you know the one in the orange packaging) and this one is fantastic too. After using this, I’m left with amazing length, and for $7.99, you should be trying this too.

4)Wet n Wild Bronzer
Photobucket
One of my favorite beauty bibles is Paula Begoun’s Don’t go to the Cosmetics Counter Without Me. I love how she looks at all different beauty products, even the higher priced ones, and shows us that many of them cost less than $2.00 to make. Paula likes the Wet n Wild bronzers a lot, and I recently bought one in a hurry when my usual bronzer fell out of my purse and broke into a million little pieces. Anyway, I loved this bronzer. First off it’s $2.99, and the Bali Bronze really left my tan skin with a beautiful golden glow that lasted all day. I love it.

5) L’oreal Hip Eyeshadow

Photobucket
These eye shadows are my absolute fave in the drugstore. The pigments are so bold, and intense. You don't have to pile this on. The staying power is amazing, and they don’t crease. Love it

De's loving Urban Decay Eyelash Primer Potion

Photobucket

I recently got the chance to try Urban Decay’s Eyelash Primer Potion, and I’m telling you, this is a must have in every hot mama’s beauty arsenal. This product took a few of my ehhh mascaras to VaVa Voom! I’m loving that this is paraben free, and contains wheat proteins and silk to give my lashes some muscle. To truly experiment with the primer, I only used it on my right lashes, and didn’t use it on the other. After applying my mascara to the eye without it, my lashes looked pretty good. However, the eyelashes with it, looked so much longer, so full of volume, and just really different. No clumping at all, just beautiful. I haven’t been impressed with a product like this in some time, and it will be staying in my makeup bag for a while.

Have you tried Urban decay's Eyelash primer Potion?

Do you love it?

Negate the Negativity From Your Life ASAP

Photobucket
How was your holiday weekend? Mind was so amazing. I cooked, ate, saw two movies (Ninja assasins, and 2012) and the most important thing I did was spend so much time with family and friends. I had a great time, and I hope you did too. But this weekend was not just about having fun, it was also about learning a valuable lesson. I have a friend Maria (her names been changed) who I’ve known forever. She’s someone that I don’t see often, but I tend to communicate a lot with through e-mail. Anyway, yesterday was a glorious day in the city so I decided to spend some time with her. We met at the Starbucks across the street from my apartment, and from the moment I saw her, I felt some vibes-and they weren’t good ones. The first thing she did was stare me up and down, comment that I’d gained some weight, and asked me when I was going to dye my hair. (How’s that for a greeting? ) I was a little put off but she’s a friend (or so I thought) and I let it go. But, after I ordered my 5 pump chai, soy latte, and I actually sat down with her, and started to ask her what was going on with her life, and all she kept doing was making weird remarks to me such as “How can you afford your apartment?” What do you plan to do with your life if your dream doesn’t come true? You wasted so much money on your degree and you’re not doing anything with it.” I started realizing something wasn't right.

After being with this girl for 20 minutes, my positive energy began to wane, and I felt almost as if I was being sucked in by so much negative energy that I couldn’t breath, and positive DE all of a sudden became negative De. Instead of smiling, I was frowning, and feeling angry, and started questioning myself and just getting annoyed.
Luckily, I realized what was happening, and quickly excused myself and went home. As I walked back home, I thought back to our friendship and realized that it had always been me who had been positive around Maria. It was always me, who had encouraged her, and been happy for her, and she had always been my biggest naysayer. At the time, I had said that maybe it was her just trying to be realistic, but it wasn’t. It was her always being so darn negative. I also realized that when I saw her, she had not said one nice thing to me, and even in the past every time I had seen her, she hadn’t said a nice thing to me either. She was always so negative. So last night, I did something I rarely do. I deleted her # out of my phone book, and out of my life. Negative people are toxic. When you start listening them too much, they can truly take over your spirit, and you can become negative as well, no matter how positive you are. Misery loves Company, always remember that. When someone is too negative, realize it, and wish them the best but move on with your own life and eliminate them from yours. It’s important not only for your success but also for your health. After I deleted her number from my phone, a sudden feeling of calmness and relief came over me, and it was then that I knew I had made the right decision.

What are some experiences you have with negative people?

Did you eliminate them from your life?

DE

De's loving Mario Russo Miracle Styling Creme

Photobucket

So as you guys know, I’m addicted to TJ Maxx (well the one that just opened around my house.) I recently bought this Mario Russo Miracle Styling Crème for $3.99 (although it currently retails for $24.99.) All these amazing deals! Anyway, this stuff is fabulous. I applied it right before I started blow-drying my hair. It contains olive oil, aloe, and vitamin E three great ingredients for the hair. This is a pretty thick consistency, so you only need a small amount. After drying, I was left with super shiny, frizz free, and lustrous hair. I barely had cowlicks (which never happens when I blow dry my hair.) My hair looked absolutely beautiful!

Have you tried Mario Russo Miracle Styling Creme?

Are you addicted to TJ Maxx like me?

SK!n Probiotic Masque & TJ Maxx Obsession!

Photobucket

So a new TJ Maxx recently opened in my neighborhood. I’ve never really been a TJ Maxx shopper because every time I went it seems I would be searching for hours for things. The stores are usually a mess, and the beauty products that they contain look like they have been opened or the boxes are leaking. Well the new TJ Maxx around my area is nothing like that! The store is immaculate, and all of their beauty products are the latest and greatest, and I can’t believe how inexpensive they are priced. I think the people that are pricing the stuff are on something, but hey, I’m not complaining. Check this out. I got this Amatokin Serum for $15.00. Right now this retails for $150.00. I’ll review it in about a month.

Anyway, last week, I picked this masque up

Photobucket

which currently retails for $45.00. Look at the price here . However, at TJ Maxx, I paid $5.99 for this and it’s the best $5.99 I’ve ever spent. The masque is loaded with probiotics.-probiotics are basically good bacteria that regulate your body’s candida (excessive candida is responsible for many issues such as acne & yeast infections) Sk1n Probiotic systems has found a way to package probiotics so you can apply topically. All of the sk1n products are designed to offer your skin benefits similar to the soothing qualities of milk, supplying nutrients like vitamins A, D, E, B2 and B12, high-quality proteins and folic acid directly to the skin. Anyway, enough about the logistics, my skin loves this stuff. After applying this, my pores are way way less noticeable. My skin is super smooth, and not tight at all, and my little acne zits are completely dried. I am obsessed with this masque, and I'm also obsessed with this new TJ Maxx. I’m heading there again today to see what else I can find before Black Friday.

Have you ever heard of this brand?

Do you shop at TJ Maxx?

Hugs,

DE
